Agoris analysis · updated October 2026

Key takeaways

  • Hotel & Restaurant Meetings Cannes is a trade show in the One to One Meetings format devoted to solutions and products for 4- and 5-star hotels: furniture, materials, interior and exterior decoration, equipment for rooms, bathrooms, restaurants and spas, digital services and tools. Suppliers host invited buyers, the hosted buyers, on their stand for pre-scheduled 15-minute meetings.
  • Next edition: 23, 24 and 25 March 2027 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes. The two business days with published times are Wednesday 24 March, 08:45 to 19:00, and Thursday 25 March, 08:45 to 18:00.
  • Organiser: Weyou Group. Annual frequency, in the second half of March since 2023: editions held 21-23 March 2023, 19-21 March 2024, 18-20 March 2025 and 17-19 March 2026, all at the Palais des Festivals.
  • The trade show shares its dates and venue with IT & Cybersecurity, another One to One Meetings trade show run by Weyou Group, devoted to networks, cloud and cybersecurity. According to the figures each website displays, IT & Cybersecurity is the larger of the two; each has its own website and its own figures, which are not combined.
  • The home page of the 2027 edition displays 200 exhibitors and 275 hosted buyers, with no year and no calculation method; the hosted buyers figure changed during the year (300 on the version archived in July 2026), which makes it a figure updated by the organiser rather than a report. No report with figures is published for any edition, and the website mentions no certification of the figures by a third party.

Who exhibits

Typical profile

The exhibitor search engine on the website sorts the offer into nine families: fit-out, decoration and renovation; room equipment; bathroom equipment; restaurant and bar; wellness, spa, hammam and swimming pool equipment; sport and fitness; cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep; intellectual products, which group services, consulting and software; new technologies.

In practice, you will find manufacturers of furniture, lighting, floor and wall coverings, textiles and bedding, brands of taps and sanitaryware, suppliers of guest amenities and treatment products for spas, fitness and swimming pool equipment, but also vendors of hotel management and point-of-sale software, and specialists in revenue management, access control or connectivity. Stands are offered in several sizes, as a bare or a fitted stand.

Notable exhibitors

The "Exhibitors 2026" list still online is the one for the March 2026 edition: 190 entries with a stand number, unchanged since June 2026. The 2027 list is not yet published; the names below exhibited in 2026, with no guarantee that they will return in 2027.

Bathrooms weigh heavily here, with Geberit, Grohe, Duravit, Laufen, Toto Europe, Vitra Bathrooms, Gessi or Delabie. Floors and surfaces are represented by Tarkett France, Gerflor, Forbo Flooring Systems, Interface, Egger or Florim. On the wellness and guest amenities side, the list includes L'Occitane en Provence, Phytomer, Thalion, Ella Baché - Thalgo and ADA Cosmetics, and on the fitness side Life Fitness / Hammer Strength and Johnson Health Tech France.

Hotel digital technology is well represented: Mews Systems and Apaleo for hotel management, Lightspeed Restaurant for point of sale, D-Edge and HotelPartner for distribution and revenue management, Salto Systems for access control, Passman for connectivity and digital signage. The list also includes Dyson, Brita, Mitsubishi Electric for heating and air conditioning, Atalian for facility management, and two champagne brands, Nicolas Feuillatte and Jacquart.

The full list, filterable by business sector, is on the official exhibitors page.

Quality of the audience

Everything rests on the Hosted Buyers programme. Weyou Group's teams select buyers with projects of 1 week to 18 months that exhibitors can deliver on; each meeting is validated on both sides, buyer and exhibitor, before being scheduled. A hosted buyer receives between 10 and 18 meetings depending on their needs, accepts or declines each one, and their stay is covered: transport, 5-star hotel and catering.

The target profiles are hotel managers and general managers, purchasing, accommodation, catering, reception and spa directors, architects specialising in hotels, property developers, as well as buyers and specifiers.

Alongside the hosted buyers, accredited visitors can walk the show, meet the exhibitors and attend the conferences and workshops. Entry is free but subject to named accreditation checked in advance; students and the general public are not admitted.

The home page also publishes the satisfaction scores for the latest edition, drawn from the organiser's platform: 4.46 out of 5 on the exhibitor side, 4.92 out of 5 on the hosted buyer side. These are figures declared by the organiser.

Events & community

Conference programme

The days alternate meeting slots on the stands, lunches and conferences; no One to One meeting is scheduled during conference times.

The 2027 programme is not yet published. The 2026 one mixed interior architecture, design and operations. The agency Wilmotte & Associés opened the first day, on Wednesday 18 March, ahead of a round table titled "Turning a Spa into a Strategic Driver of Hotel Performance", hosted by the founder and editor-in-chief of Sense of WELLNESS Magazine, with the founder of Wellness Consulting and a resort manager from the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel. On Thursday 19 March, the floor went to Malherbe Paris and Studio Massaud, then to D-Edge on the theme "AI Driving Hotel Performance".

The Hotel & Restaurant Awards

The trade show presents the Hotel & Restaurant Awards, described as a reward for the best hotel spaces, hotel managers and architects, with a jury bringing together hoteliers, architects, advertisers and event agencies that organise seminars in hotels, as well as media partners. The 2026 winners list published on the website, however, only includes prizes intended for exhibitors, grouped under the heading "Supplier Awards for Best Innovation": seven categories, including "Best bathroom and sanitary solution", won by Geberit, "Best digital solution", by Passman, and "Best furniture collection", by Stella Loisirs. The 2027 terms are not yet published.

Networking

The concept includes three evenings: an opening cocktail dinner on the first evening, a free evening on the second so that exhibitors can invite clients and prospects, and a gala evening with a cocktail dinner on the last evening. In 2026, the home page announced a welcome cocktail on Tuesday 17 March from 21:00 and a closing cocktail on Thursday 19 March from 20:30, reserved for exhibitors and the "Top Decision-Makers".

At lunchtime, three options coexisted in 2026: a business lunch organised through matchmaking after mutual validation, a cocktail at the VIP Club, or a free lunch, depending on status and the options purchased. The hosted buyers are put up in hotels on the Croisette, where part of the networking takes place, the other part taking place at the Palais.

Community & networks

Hotel & Restaurant Meetings Cannes belongs to the family of One to One Meetings trade shows run by Weyou Group, which applies the same concept in Cannes to other industries, including events with Heavent Meetings Cannes, the work environment with Workplace Meetings Cannes and marketing and customer experience with All4Customer Cannes.

Thematically close, Interior & Exterior Design, devoted to decoration and furniture for luxury and ultra-luxury projects, is classed like it by Weyou Group in the hospitality and residential universe; it takes place in late November 2026 at the same Palais. The Hotel & Restaurant brand is also rolled out in Marbella and Amsterdam.

On site: what you need to know

The trade show is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, on the Croisette. The SNCF railway station is about six minutes' walk away, and shuttles link Nice-Côte d'Azur airport to Cannes in about 45 minutes.

Announced hours for 2027: Wednesday 24 March from 08:45 to 19:00, Thursday 25 March from 08:45 to 18:00. Tuesday 23 March is among the announced dates, with no published hours to date; in 2026, the home page announced the welcome cocktail the day before the business days.

Access is by badge only: exhibitors receive a pack containing their badges and, where applicable, the wristbands for lunches or evenings, whose access depends on the options in the contract. Journalists can request a free press badge, with the press card checked at the entrance.

How much it costs to exhibit

Weyou Group publishes no price list online: the website offers a 15-minute call to present the concept, the participation formats and the stand locations. It describes the components: a bare stand, a carpeted area to be fitted out, or a fitted stand including partitions, lighting, electricity, Wi-Fi and basic furniture; a schedule of meetings with the hosted buyers, which the organiser presents as meetings that are sold and scheduled; contract options for lunches, the VIP Club and evenings.

The website does not say whether accommodation is included in the participation. The organiser strongly advises exhibitors to book in the hotels where the hosted buyers stay, since most of the networking takes place there.

To justify the investment, the organiser displays an average return on investment of 7 to 15 times measured over 18 months and 70% of exhibitors who sign up again within 30 days. These indicators cover all of its One to One Meetings trade shows, not Hotel & Restaurant Meetings Cannes alone, and are measured by its own tools.

Preparing your visit

For the exhibitor

  • Book accommodation early in the hosted buyers' hotels, on the Croisette: that is where the meetings outside the schedule take place.
  • Take care over the description of your brands, products and services: these are the exhibitor data that the matchmaking platform cross-references with the hosted buyers' projects.
  • Plan a demonstration that fits into 15 minutes, on a stand that shows the product in context: bedding, taps or a floor covering are judged by touch.
  • Check the contract options, lunches, VIP Club and evenings, before the event: badges and wristbands depend on them.

For the decision-making visitor

  • Apply to the Hosted Buyers programme if an opening, renovation or equipment project is under way: the schedule is built around that project and the stay is covered.
  • Otherwise, request a free visitor accreditation, to be justified by your role and company.
  • Accept or decline each meeting proposed: the programme leaves that control to the buyer.
  • Keep time for the conferences, with no meetings scheduled during those slots, and for the stands outside the schedule.

Policy & CSR initiatives

The trade show has a CSR/ESG page, undated, whose main action concerns the transport of invited buyers: in partnership with the Palais des Festivals and SNCF, chartered TGV trains for the "Top Decision-Makers", with a calculation of 3.25 kg of CO₂e per person for a Paris-Cannes round trip by train, against 140 kg for a Paris-Nice round trip by plane, for which the page cites SNCF and Air France data as sources.

At group level, Weyou Group cites HQE-certified offices, hybrid working, a policy of professional equality and inclusion, and a long-term shareholder, EMZ Partners, a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment. No ISO 20121 certification specific to the trade show is displayed.

The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, which became a "société à mission" (mission-led company) in 2022, for its part displays ISO 20121 (responsible event management), ISO 9001 and ISO 18788 certifications, as well as the Destination Innovante Durable and Tourisme & Handicap labels.

Trajectory analysis

The trade show is young and its beginnings were disrupted. Weyou Group launched it with a press release dated 21 March 2019, for a first edition announced for 17, 18 and 19 March 2020 with 70 exhibitors and 150 French and European "top decision-makers". In the health context of 2020, that date was postponed first to 15-17 December, then brought forward to 20-22 October 2020, and the first edition was held in October 2020 at the Palais des Festivals: the organiser's website presents it as "the first successful edition" of the show. The following edition, announced for 31 May to 2 June 2021, was in turn postponed and was held from 7 to 9 November 2021. After an edition in April 2022, the show settled into the second half of March, still at the Palais des Festivals.

The advertised volumes have broadly grown, with an apparent dip at the end of 2024, and no year-specific report to tell them apart. The "Le bilan" (results) block of the home page showed in June and September 2021 100 exhibitors and 200 "Top Décideurs", then as early as October 2021, so before the November edition, 120 exhibitors and 250 "Top Décideurs", without linking them to an edition: the neighbouring text on the page announces in the future tense "more than 200 top decision-makers", then "more than 250 decision-makers"; in May 2022, 130 exhibiting stands; from April 2024, 300 brands present and 400 hotel directors and architects; from December 2024 to April 2026, 350 hotel directors and architects and, depending on the period, more than 200 then more than 230 brands, still without a year. The 2026 edition list has 190 entries, and the 2027 edition page announces 200 exhibitors. The units change from one period to the next, a brand not being an exhibitor: the comparison is only valid as an order of magnitude.

The upmarket positioning, for its part, has not moved: the 2019 press release already targeted decision-makers from hotel chains, restaurants, palaces and 4- and 5-star hotels with more than 200 rooms. The classification of the offer has, however, become more detailed, from the five main themes announced in 2020 (room equipment, restaurant and bar, fit-out and renovation, bathroom and wellness, innovation and technology) to the nine current families, which now isolate fitness, cleanliness and maintenance, as well as services, consulting and software ("intellectual products"). The vocabulary has followed: the "Top Décideurs" of the early years became hosted buyers on recent pages, although some pages keep the old term, and the site moved at the end of 2025 to a new domain, the old address redirecting to it.

All data that does not state its source comes from the organiser's website.

Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (hotel-and-restaurant-one-to-one-meetings.fr).
