Key facts
- The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is the international superyacht trade show. This annual event has been held at Port Hercule since 1991, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.
- Next edition: the 36th, from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25 September 2027. Wednesday is an invitation-only day, open to clients invited by exhibitors and to VIP pass holders; general public access with a ticket opens on Thursday.
- Organiser: Monaco Yacht Show S.A.M., a Monegasque public limited company. The trade show is part of the Informa Markets division of Informa PLC, and its press release of 3 August 2026 presents Informa Prestige, the group's luxury and lifestyle portfolio, as owner and organiser of the trade show. The 2026 edition was the first run by Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige.
- 2026 results (35th edition, 23-26 September): 560 exhibitors, 118 superyachts including 50 delivered during the year, 72 tenders and 30,678 visitors, of whom 13,368 were private visitors invited by exhibitors.
- For an exhibitor, the MYS works first and foremost as a marketplace: shipyards, brokers, designers and equipment suppliers meet owners and prospective buyers there, often by appointment made before the show.
- Exhibitor applications for 2027 were not yet open at the time of writing: the organiser invites first-time exhibitors to get in touch via its Become an exhibitor page.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The 2026 results describe 560 exhibitors representing the whole superyacht value chain: construction and refit yards, designers, naval architects, equipment suppliers, brokers and specialist service providers. The search engine of the official list uses the same segmentation, with eleven activity families: marine equipment supplier, shipyard, yacht broker and charter, service, repair and maintenance yard, luxury products and services, tenders, naval architecture and yacht designers, toys, media and technology supplier.
The layout follows this logic. The Dockside Area, along the quayside, brings together superyachts and tenders afloat, with stands for construction, brokerage, design and naval architecture companies, insurers, ports and marinas, and yacht management firms. The exhibition tents are split by trade: the Parvis Piscine and the Upper Deck Lounge for interior fitting and luxury products, the Quai Albert Ier and the Darse Sud for refit yards, marinas and technology equipment, according to the 2025 edition results. Sailing yachts are grouped in the Sailing Yacht Area, at the Quai l'Hirondelle, and tenders, water toys and luxury vehicles in the Adventure Area, on the Quai Jarlan and the Quai Antoine Ier.
Since 2026, the Designer Gallery has replaced the former Yacht Design & Innovation Hub: a continuous platform set up in the Dockside Area, partly on the rocks of the port, which brought together fourteen design and naval architecture studios at its first edition.
Notable exhibitors
The exhibitors of the 2027 edition have not yet been published. The organiser states that the lists of exhibitors, superyachts and tenders go online from July and are updated until opening, on the official exhibitor list.
To give a sense of the level of the offer, the 2026 edition saw Oceanco present Leviathan (111 m) on its first appearance in Monaco, Lürssen unveil Nixie (102.4 m) as a world premiere and Turquoise Yachts present Angelique (88 m). Amels, Sanlorenzo, ISA Yachts, Baglietto and Riva were among the other premieres. The 2026 Designer Gallery notably welcomed Espen Oeino International, Frers Design, Philippe Briand, Pininfarina and VPLP Design.
Visitor quality
Attendance is stable, at around 30,000 visitors per edition: 29,197 visitors in 2024, 29,956 in 2025 and 30,678 in 2026. The figure that matters to an exhibitor lies elsewhere. Of the 30,678 visitors in 2026, 13,368 were private visitors invited by the exhibitors themselves: owners, potential clients, and the advisers and representatives acting on their behalf.
The organiser also prospects on behalf of its exhibitors. In 2026, its teams prequalified 648 visitors with a yacht project, who received an invitation, an MYS VIP Guest Pass or a place in the Prestige VIP Programme. The latter supported 56 clients and organised 85 yacht visits. Toby Moore sums up the show's line: “a marketplace for yacht projects, not a parade”.
Access is organised in two stages. Wednesday is reserved for guests and holders of dedicated passes: the Exhibitor Guest pass, aimed at yacht purchase or charter clients, opens all areas, the Dockside Area included. The Visitor pass, aimed at private and professional visitors, gives access to the show from Wednesday by invitation, or from Thursday if bought online, and opens the Dockside Area only from Thursday. In all cases, access on board yachts and tenders remains at the discretion of each exhibitor.
Events & community
Blue Wake™ and Blue Wake Awards
Launched in 2025 to replace the Sustainability Hub, Blue Wake™ is the show's programme recognising exhibitors' eco-responsible solutions. Each application is independently assessed by the Water Revolution Foundation across four areas: emissions reduction, material circularity, eco-design, and protection of water and marine ecosystems. In 2026, 60 solutions were validated. The programme is now open to exhibitors specialising in brokerage and yacht management. The call for 2026 applications opened in March.
The 2026 Blue Wake Awards rewarded five winners, one per category: Tykun, Bespoke Projects, Termodinamica, Amico & Co and Marina Ibiza. The Blue Wake Special Award for a yacht went to Simena (Ares Yachts, 62 m).
BOAT Lounge and content
New in 2026, the BOAT Lounge at the Monaco Yacht Show, created with BOAT International, hosted the daily BOAT Radio broadcasts, interviews, round tables and networking meetings. The conferences and round tables organised by the show are open with a valid pass, subject to availability. Events organised by exhibitors (conferences, cocktail receptions) are mostly private and by invitation.
The opening night of the 2027 edition is announced for Tuesday 21 September 2027, the day before opening: the invitation is among the benefits of the Prestige VIP programme.
Community & networks
On the Côte d'Azur, the Cannes Yachting Festival took place in 2026 from 8 to 13 September, about a fortnight before the MYS (23-26 September). The two trade shows do not target the same segment. Cannes covers the whole of boating, from the dayboat to the superyacht, whereas the MYS concentrates on large vessels, with an average length of 47.50 metres for the fleet exhibited in 2026.
The organiser also announces The Future of Refit, presented as the first event devoted exclusively to superyacht refit and maintenance, which would take place from 31 March to 2 April 2027 at the Grimaldi Forum, with an on-water exhibition in the Yacht Club de Monaco marina.
Monaco hosts several other trade shows listed on Agoris, including Luxe Pack Monaco for luxury packaging, Les Assises de la cybersécurité and Ready For IT.
On site: what to know
The show occupies the quays of Port Hercule, in the La Condamine district. For the layout and access, see the venue page: Port Hercule.
2027 opening hours: Wednesday 22 September from 10am to 6.30pm, by invitation only; Thursday 23 and Friday 24 September from 10am to 6.30pm, open to the public; Saturday 25 September from 10am to 6pm, open to the public. Entry is permitted until 30 minutes before closing. The Dockside Area opens from 8.30am to Exhibitor Guest, MYS VIP and Prestige VIP pass holders and to the press.
The show has four entrances (Quai Antoine Ier, Parvis Piscine on boulevard Albert Ier, Quai Chicane and Quai Albert Ier) and two VIP entrances, at the Quai Albert Ier and the Quai Louis II. Free electric golf carts and sea shuttles link the exhibition areas during opening hours.
Getting there: Monaco Monte-Carlo station has a Port Hercule exit. By road, the organiser recommends the Salines park and ride, at the entrance to the Principality, about a 15-minute walk from the port. Nice Côte d'Azur airport is 22 kilometres away, less than 30 minutes by motorway. Monaco's bus-boat is reserved for show visitors during the event.
Ticketing: it is closed until the next edition and 2027 prices have not been published, including those for the MYS VIP Pass and the Prestige VIP programme. Entry is free for children up to and including 8 years old.
Rules to know: no left-luggage facility at the show, drone flights prohibited except by the official provider, and port access closed to yachts during the event. The official hotel agency, Monaco Check-In, opens its bookings in spring 2027.
How much does it cost to exhibit
The organiser does not publish an exhibitor price list. Applications for the 2027 edition will open soon, according to the Become an exhibitor page, which already invites companies wishing to take part for the first time to contact the show's team. Partnership applications for the 2027 edition will open soon, according to the Become a partner page, where the show's team invites companies to get in touch to discuss partnership options.
For a shipyard or a broker, the budget is not limited to the stand: the Dockside Area is the zone for exhibiting superyachts and tenders afloat, and each exhibitor pre-orders passes for its teams from its Exhibitor Area. Spaces can be privatised within the show's grounds for an event, on request to the organiser. Promotional display around the port is regulated by the MYS organising committee, in conjunction with Monaco's Direction de la Prospective, de l'Urbanisme et de la Mobilité.
Planning your visit
For the exhibitor
- Build your guest list in advance: private visitors invited by exhibitors numbered 13,368 in 2026, and Wednesday is an invitation-only day.
- Pre-order your teams' passes from the Exhibitor Area, and send your service providers the documents they need for their deliveries.
- Declare to your MYS contact any third-party brand visible on the stand, and submit to the organiser in advance any private event or display project within the grounds or around the port.
- Apply to Blue Wake™ if the company has a solution with a measurable environmental impact: validated exhibitors can be identified by a dedicated filter in the official exhibitor list.
- For companies outside the European Union, look into reclaiming the VAT paid in Monaco, which the organiser directs to an approved body.
For the decision-maker visitor
- Book appointments with exhibitors before the show: the organiser strongly recommends it, and yacht visits take place by appointment only and at the exhibitor's discretion.
- For a purchase or charter project, ask an exhibitor for an invitation or find out about the official VIP programme to access the show from Wednesday.
- Consult the lists of exhibitors, superyachts and tenders, published from July, to target your visits.
- Book accommodation early: the official hotel agency opens its bookings in spring 2027.
CSR policy & initiatives
The MYS declares an eco-responsible approach begun in 2005. Its organisers signed the Energy Transition Mission Pact of the Government of Monaco in 2022, which commits them to annual action plans around three areas: mobility, waste and energy.
On the operations side, the show highlights the exclusive use of green electricity on site, lower-energy air conditioning, free use of Monaco's bus network from set-up to dismantling, free electric shuttles at the show, the distribution of reusable bottles, the gradual digitisation of materials and a cigarette-butt collector at the entrances. A charter of good environmental practice is offered to exhibitors.
The show has supported the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation since 2010: the 2026 donation came to €55,000, allocated to the Ice Memory programme to preserve glacier ice samples. It also supports the Water Revolution Foundation's good environmental practices for crews and the Yacht Environmental Transparency Index (YETI) score estimates provided to exhibited yachts, as well as the Blue Marine association.
At group level, Informa PLC runs FasterForward, a five-year sustainability programme. At venue level, the Société d'Exploitation des Ports de Monaco, manager of the Principality's ports, states on its website the “Ports Propres” certification (AFNOR, 2011), supplemented in 2020 by “Ports propres actifs en biodiversité”, as well as the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications obtained in 2018. These certifications are the manager's, not the show's. No ISO 20121 certification specific to the Monaco Yacht Show is mentioned on the official website.

Trajectory analysis
The MYS is a trade show of stable size. Over three editions, the fleet stays between 118 and 120 superyachts, the offer at around 560 exhibitors, and attendance rises slowly, from 29,197 to 30,678 visitors.
Among recent changes, the Sustainability Hub gave way in 2025 to the Blue Wake™ programme, backed by an independent assessment, and the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub became the Designer Gallery in 2026. In 2026 too, Gaëlle Tallarida, managing director for sixteen years, left the show (announced on 9 March 2026) and Toby Moore had his first MYS at the helm. Its results report quantifies indicators that the 2024 and 2025 reports do not detail: private visitors invited by exhibitors, visitors prequalified by the organiser, and activity of the Prestige VIP Programme.
The 2026 results highlight the market context. They cite BOAT International's Global Order Book, which shows a drop in projects under construction for the second year running and slots booked up to 2028-2029 at the large yards, and BOATPro data, according to which yacht sales exceeded €4 billion in the first half of 2026, against €3.61 billion a year earlier. With 50 yachts delivered during the year and 15 units refitted within the past three years in its 2026 fleet, according to its results press release, the MYS presents its fleet as an offer that is available while the large yards show slots up to 2028-2029.
