Key facts
- Salon CPV Strasbourg is the Alsace stop of the Club des Professionnels du Vin trade shows: a one-day B2B tasting trade show where a selection of châteaux and estates from several French wine regions welcome professional buyers from the region.
- Next edition: Monday 10 May 2027, at the Hôtel Les Haras, at 23 rue des Glacières, by the edge of La Petite France. The 2027 opening hours have not been published yet; the three previous editions ran from 10am to 6pm.
- Audience: on-trade professionals (CHR), wine merchants, delicatessens, sommeliers, agents and buyers. Entry is free for professionals, with a badge.
- Organiser: IK COM, a company based in Brignais, in the Rhône, which signs as “SALON CPV by IK COM”. No co-organiser.
- Annual frequency, in spring. The trade show has been held at the Hôtel Les Haras since at least 2023; it is part of a calendar that also includes, for the 2026-2027 season, Lyon, Rennes, Monaco and Bordeaux.
- The organiser publishes no attendance figure and no total number of exhibitors.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
Exhibitors are producers: family estates, châteaux and wine houses presenting their range directly to buyers. The organiser describes a selection “from every terroir in France”, and the list published for 2025 bears this out, with estates from Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Languedoc, Provence and the Loire Valley.
The format suits wineries looking to open accounts with restaurateurs and wine merchants without going through a major trade show. Several estates present in 2025 highlight organic farming or HVE certification.
Notable exhibitors
The Strasbourg page of the official website presents fourteen estates under the heading “Ils étaient présents en 2025” (“They were present in 2025”): Domaine Ginglinger and Domaine Ulmer for Alsace; Château Clarisse, Château Jouvente and Château Trianon for Bordeaux; Domaine Corsin for Burgundy; Famille Moutard and Champagne Éric Isselée for Champagne and Burgundy; Domaine de Cazaban for Languedoc; Domaine de la Bastide des Oliviers for Provence; Domaine Charpentier, Vignoble du Haut Fourneau, Vignobles Jourdain and Domaine Damien Bruneau for the Loire Valley.
This list is the 2025 one: the selection for the 2027 edition has not been published. The Strasbourg page of the trade show on the official website is the one that presents the estates.
Quality of the audience
The trade show targets a professional audience: the Strasbourg page addresses “professionnels CHR, cavistes, épiceries fine, agents, sommeliers” (on-trade professionals, wine merchants, delicatessens, agents, sommeliers), and the invitation page adds importers. The stated principle is that of “One Day” events allowing professionals in a region to meet, exchange, taste and make their purchases.
No attendance data is published, and there is no third-party audit. For an exhibitor, the appeal lies less in volume than in targeting: a day devoted to restaurant and wine-trade buyers in Strasbourg and its region.
Activities & community
The format of the day
There is no conference programme. The day is devoted to tasting and direct exchange between producers and buyers, which the organiser, Véronique Magrou, sums up as “human-scale settings that encourage direct exchange with producers”.
The edition of 9 May 2023 had a thematic variation, presented as an “édition 100% vins biologiques” (100% organic wines edition). The pages for the following editions no longer mention an organic theme.
Community & networks
According to the organiser, the Club des Professionnels du Vin trade shows were created more than 25 years ago on the initiative of Gilles Temine, manager of the Gault et Millau guide. The Exhibit page refers to expertise serving the wine industry since 1994.
The archive pages for the 2019 and 2021 Strasbourg editions mention the presence of Frédéric Voné, sommelier consultant and member of the Association des Sommeliers d'Alsace. His participation in later editions is not stated.
On site: what you need to know
The trade show takes place at the Hôtel Les Haras, a 4-star hotel set in the buildings of the former national stud farm of Strasbourg, at 23 rue des Glacières, by the edge of La Petite France. For the 2024 and 2026 editions, the organiser stated that the entrance to the seminar area is at 4 rue Sainte-Elisabeth: check the Strasbourg page before travelling in 2027.
The 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions ran from 10am to 6pm. Visitors download their badge from the Strasbourg page of the website; for 2027, ticketing is not yet open. Professionals can also request an invitation via the website form.
According to the hotel, the railway station is a 20-minute walk or 15 minutes by public transport (line A or D, Porte de l'Hôpital stop, then a 650-metre walk); an outdoor car park and a paid garage available by reservation are offered, along with three charging points.
How much does it cost to exhibit
| Poste de dépense | Fourchette basse | Fourchette haute |
|---|---|---|
| Exhibitor participation: tasting table and basic services (on quotation) | €500 | €2,000 |
| Tasting wines, equipment and sales literature | €200 | €800 |
| Transport of wine and people to Strasbourg | €150 | €800 |
| Accommodation and meals (1 to 2 nights) | €150 | €600 |
| INDICATIVE TOTAL (1 day) | ~€1,000 | ~€4,200 |
At a one-day trade show, transport and accommodation can weigh as much as participation itself: combining several dates in the CPV calendar or scheduling client meetings in the region helps spread the cost of the trip. Ask the organiser for prices.
Planning your visit
For the exhibitor
- Contact the organiser early via the Exhibit page: the organiser speaks of a selection of estates, so it is best not to wait until the last minute.
- Choose a short, clear range for restaurants and wine merchants, with trade prices and delivery terms ready on the day: the trade show is designed so that buyers place orders there.
- For an estate outside Alsace, prepare an argument against Alsace wines, which appear in the published lists from 2023 to 2025 and are naturally expected by the local clientele.
- Contact your Strasbourg clients and prospects before the date: in a single day, meetings booked in advance make the difference.
For the professional visitor
- Download your badge as soon as ticketing opens on the Strasbourg page; entry is free for professionals.
- Consult the list of estates if the organiser publishes one before the day (the Strasbourg page currently shows the 2025 one) to target the appellations missing from your list.
- Come with your listing needs quantified: volumes, price range, lead times. The producers present sell direct.
CSR policy & initiatives
Neither the trade show's website nor its organiser publishes a CSR policy, a carbon footprint report or ISO 20121 certification: the site has only four sections (Home, Visit, Exhibit, Contact), and IK COM presents no programme of its own. The venue, however, publishes an ecological commitments page: the Hôtel Les Haras states that it received the Clef Verte label in 2026, and describes measures on energy, water, local purchasing and electric vehicle charging. This is the venue's commitment, not the trade show's.
The subject appears through content rather than organisation: the 2023 edition was devoted to organic wines, and several estates present in 2025 report organic or biodynamic farming or HVE certification. These are commitments by the exhibitors, not by the trade show. For the 2024 and 2026 editions, the trade show was held in the hotel's seminar area rather than in an exhibition centre.

Trajectory analysis
The Strasbourg trade show has settled into a stable format since 2024: a Monday in late April or May, at the Hôtel Les Haras, from 10am to 6pm (the 2023 edition was held on a Tuesday, from 11am to 6pm). The site also keeps archive pages for 2019 and 2021, which list exhibitors without stating either a date or a venue.
The CPV series itself changes more. The invitation form still mentions Nice, Paris, Nantes and Lille, cities that no longer appear in the calendar, while Rennes, absent from this form, does appear in the calendar. Strasbourg, for its part, has returned every spring since at least 2023.
The absence of any published figure makes the trajectory hard to measure from the outside. The only public indicator is the list of exhibitors presented: the page for the 2024 edition has eighteen presentation entries, some of which are wine merchants or groups that in turn present other estates, and the 2025 page has fourteen entries. The two lists are not comparable, and the organiser does not state whether they are exhaustive.
All data that does not name its source comes from the organiser's website.
Unless otherwise stated, all factual data in this listing comes from the organiser's official website (salon-cpv.fr).
