Key takeaways
- "Salon international des Plages, de la Restauration et de l'Hôtellerie" (International Trade Show for Beaches, Catering and Hospitality): SIPRHO brings together the whole CHR (hotels, restaurants and cafés) sector in Montpellier every February, with an equipped-beaches vertical inherited from its origins.
- Organiser: Konk Organisation, a company based in the Hérault founded by Mathias Barrios and Cynthia Tremblay, which has run the event directly since 2010.
- Next edition: the 17th SIPRHO, on 8, 9 and 10 February 2027 at the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier, in Pérols. Monday and Tuesday 9am-7pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm.
- 2026 audience (Expo'Stat certified review): 21,588 qualified professionals, more than 410 exhibitors and co-exhibitors including 16 from abroad, across 20,025 m².
- Positioning claimed by the organiser: "the 2nd largest catering trade show in France", behind SIRHA Lyon.
- A scenography signature the organiser fully owns: the exhibition park is turned into recreated beaches, with "sand, palm trees, tiki bars and beach huts".
- Free entry for professionals on registration, badge to be generated online or collected at the kiosks on arrival.
Who exhibits
Typical profile
The offer is structured into six families: Food & drink; Furniture, Decoration & Tableware; Kitchen, dining room and hospitality equipment & hygiene; Textiles, communication & Technology; Services & Training; Beach & Outdoor fitting-out. This last family is the trade show's trademark, born in La Grande-Motte among private beach operators: parasols, sun loungers, beach furniture, lighting and outdoor space fitting-out sit alongside the more classic catering solutions.
On the visitor side, the organiser targets the owners and staff of establishments: restaurants, beaches, bars, cocktail bars, hotels, campsites, nightclubs, caterers, bakeries, as well as project leaders in the sector.
Notable exhibitors
The full list of exhibitors and the terms of participation are published on the exhibitors page of the official website. The exhibitor testimonials published online by the organiser notably cite C Mobilier, Bonduelle Food Service, Boxaki, Brasserie d'Olt, Aquablue Loisirs and Salomon Foodworld. The official website also puts forward a generic figure of more than 500 exhibiting brands each year, without attaching it to a specific edition.
Quality of the audience
The 2026 edition was audited by Expo'Stat, the trade show attendance certification body: 21,588 qualified professionals, against 19,987 in 2025, a rise of 8% announced by the organiser. The trade show is reserved for professionals, which explains an audience made up very largely of establishment operators and decision-makers, rather than opinion-formers or the merely curious.
Events & community
Programme and activities
SIPRHO's content relies less on a cycle of conferences than on on-floor entertainment: culinary demonstrations, tastings on the stands, competitions with prizes and goodies, dancing and music run through the three days.
Awards and accolades
The Mix'O Contest, a mixology competition, is the trade show's recognised competitive event.
Community & networks
The Beach Party is the event's networking highlight: an evening held on the Tuesday, by invitation, bringing exhibitors and visitors together in the recreated beach setting. The organiser also schedules Afterworks in partner bars and restaurants around the exhibition park.
On the editorial side, SIPRHO publishes a year-round series of interviews entitled "Ils/elles font bouger les lignes du CHR" (Those shaking up the CHR sector), giving a voice to figures from the sector (Bernard Boutboul, Brice Sannac, Luc Reversade, Louis Privat, Jérôme Billod-Morel).

Preparing your visit
For the exhibitor
- Request the exhibitor pack early: the trade show grew from 356 stands in 2025 to more than 410 exhibitors and co-exhibitors in 2026, over a surface that reached 20,025 m².
- Choose your exhibiting family with full knowledge: the Beach & Outdoor fitting-out vertical draws a seasonal operator audience that buys in February for the summer season ahead.
- Plan for tasting or demonstration: this is the trade show's dominant activity format, and the main lever for stopping visitors at the stand.
- Book your place at the Beach Party on the Tuesday evening, by invitation, to extend the contacts made during the day.
For the decision-making visitor
- February's calendar is deliberately set ahead of the season: it's when supplier listings and equipment investments for the summer are finalised.
- Three days, a single entrance hall: one day is enough to cover one product family, two for a full tour.
- Wednesday closes at 5pm: schedule important meetings for Monday or Tuesday.
- Registering online avoids the queue at the kiosks on Monday morning, the busiest day.
Policy & CSR initiatives
Konk Organisation does not publish a dedicated "Commitments" or "CSR" page for SIPRHO, and the event does not hold its own ISO 20121 certification. Two tangible elements are nonetheless documented.
On the venue side: the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier is operated by SPL Occitanie Events, certified AFAQ ISO 20121 (responsible event management) by AFNOR since January 2021, with the certification maintained in January 2025 following an audit carried out on 6 December 2024. The approach is structured around thirteen issues spread across three pillars (users, territory, environment) covering in particular waste management, biodiversity preservation, energy and water savings, food sourcing, mobility and inclusion through employment. The operator publishes an eco-responsibility policy called "Occi'gène" and annual sustainable development reports.
On the offer side: the trade show identifies "Solutions éco-responsables" (Eco-responsible solutions) as a product category presented by exhibitors. This is a commercial theme of the trade show, not an organisational commitment by the event, and the two should not be confused.

Trajectory analysis
SIPRHO was born in 2010 at the Palais des Congrès in La Grande-Motte, around a narrow target: operators of equipped and private beaches along the Mediterranean coast. Mathias Barrios and Cynthia Tremblay, joined by Sébastien Sanchez in 2011, gradually broadened the scope to catering and then hospitality, up to the move to the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier in 2022, which gave the trade show the space it needed to scale up.
The recent trajectory is steady: 19,987 visitors in 2025, 21,588 in 2026, an 8% rise on figures certified by Expo'Stat, and a move from 356 stands to more than 410 exhibitors and co-exhibitors over the same period. The organiser now claims second place among French catering trade shows, behind SIRHA Lyon. This positioning should be kept in perspective: SIPRHO plays on its own geography and calendar, in February, just before the coast's summer season, while its national competitors such as Equip'Hôtel Paris or SIRHA Méditerranée target other buying cycles. Its strength lies less in volume than in concentration: over three days, it captures a very significant share of CHR operators in the South of France at the precise moment they are deciding on their seasonal investments.
