Franchising and organised retail make up a market in which trade shows play a structuring role: it is mainly at trade shows that prospective franchisees meet network heads and compare brands.
The benchmark trade show
Franchise Expo Paris (Paris, annual in March, FFF/Infopro Digital) drew 32,282 participants, 595 exhibitors and 472 brands in 2025. 60% of visitors are attending for the first time. Breakdown: retail (42%), food (41%), services (17%). Next edition: 14-16 March 2026.
Complementary formats
Salon SME is aimed at founders and the self-employed. Regional franchise trade shows (Forum Franchise Lyon, Bordeaux, Rennes) reach local candidates. For catering brands, SIRHA Lyon is also a recruitment channel.
Beyond the trade shows
The Trophées de la Franchise, the Franchise Magazine rankings and the FFF's conferences shape brand awareness. The information days organised by network heads are often the first point of contact before visiting the trade show.
